Shipping & Delivery
Thama ships orders from our office in Nairobi, Kenya, to customers locally and worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on your location. All delivery times are estimates and may take longer during busy periods or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Local deliveries (within Nairobi)
We deliver all orders within Nairobi using boda drivers.
Shipping costs: KES 400
Estimated delivery: same or next business day (Mon–Fri)
Kenya-wide deliveries (outside Nairobi)
Orders outside Nairobi (within Kenya) are shipped using Ship Shap.
Shipping costs: KES 1,300
Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days
Delivery times may be longer in remote areas or during busy periods.
International deliveries
Orders outside Kenya are shipped via DHL Express.
Shipping costs: KES 4,500
Estimated delivery: 5–10 business day
Please note: international shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees, which are not included in the checkout price and remain the responsibility of the customer.
Lost or damaged items
All items are shipped at the customer’s own risk. Thama is not liable for lost or damaged packages once they are handed over to the shipping company. We will provide tracking information and contact details for the shipping company, and it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up with them if needed.
Returns & Refunds
Thama has a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return.
Eligibility for returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, and in its original packaging. Worn, damaged, or altered items will not be accepted.
All returns are at the customer’s own cost, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
How to start a return
To start a return, you’ll need your order number and can contact us at info@thamastudio.com.
Once your return is approved, we will send you instructions by email on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return services by location
Within Nairobi
Customers may drop off the item at our office or have it collected by a boda driver (at their own cost).
Rest of Kenya (outside Nairobi)
Customers should return items via Ship Shap using the same courier service as for delivery.
We will provide instructions once your return is approved.
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
International returns
Customers should return items via DHL Express, using the same service as for delivery.
Instructions will be provided by email once your return is approved.
All return shipping costs, including any customs or import fees, are the responsibility of the customer.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is approved, you can place a new order for the replacement item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at info@thamastudio.com
